BGC South East is expanding education programming into the Leeds and Grenville community through the Brockville & Kemptville STEM & Education Centre’s.
The Centre’s provide accessible, high-quality learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom for children and families. Through STEM, literacy, and mentorship-focused programming, participants build skills in creativity, problem solving, and critical thinking in a supportive, engaging environment.
The STEM & Education Centres build on BGC South East’s long-standing commitment to education and mentorship and continues the legacy of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville, now fully integrated into BGC South East.

Our Programs
Our Brockville & Kemptville STEM & Education Centres offer STEM & literacy afterschool, camp, and field trip programs for children and youth ages 4 to 18. Programs are grouped by age (Kinder, Primary, Junior, Intermediate) and are led by experienced educators and STEM specialists. Programs are designed to complement school learning through hands-on exploration, creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Program Schedule
- Winter Term: 8 weeks of afterschool programs for ages 4 to 18, approximately 1 hour per week
- March Break Camp: 1 week of full-day literacy, STEM, and robotics programming with active time
- Spring Term: 9 weeks of afterschool programs for ages 4 to 18, approximately 1 hour per week
- Summer Break Camps: 8 weeks of full-day literacy, STEM, and robotics programming with active time
- Fall Term: 12 weeks of afterschool programs for ages 4 to 18, approximately 1 hour per week
- Winter Break Camp: 1 week of full-day literacy, STEM, and robotics programming with active time
