STEM & Robotics Centre
In the Fall of 2024, BGC South East officially launched one of Canada’s largest youth STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) centres, a 9,000 sq ft facility equipped with over $500,000 in cutting-edge equipment and technology. Our programs are led by a dedicated team of highly qualified professionals with expertise in engineering, education, and business.
The Centre includes:
- 2 dedicated classrooms
- Makerspace with 3D printers, laser engraver, soldering stations, and hand tools
- Computer Lab with 15 high-performance desktops
- Machine Shop with CNC machining, welding, metalworking, and woodworking equipment
- Full-Sized Robotics Competition Field and Fabrication Lab

STEM Birthday Parties
* Hour 1 – Robotics Challenge: Kids will build, code, and test their own robots in an exciting challenge! Whether it’s racing, battling, or completing a fun task, everyone gets to be an engineer.
* 30 Minutes – Celebration Time: Time to enjoy dessert, drinks, and open presents!
* Final 30 Minutes – STEM Activity: Guests will dive into a hands-on STEM experiment or project, such as making catapults, circuits, woodworking, or slime—bringing science and engineering to life!
