Our West End Community Centre features a bright, 25-meter indoor pool that’s used daily for everything from after-school programs and camps to birthday parties, and City of Kingston swim times! Take a look at the programs currently open for registration and find the option that fits your goals.
 

NEW Aqua Cycling

Dive into a fun, low-impact, high-energy workout with our Aqua Cycling & Fitness classes. These sessions combine the intensity of indoor cycling with the support and resistance of water for a dynamic and engaging fitness experience.

• Starts January 15 at 8:00 a.m.
• Runs Thursdays and Fridays
• Cost: $120 for an 8-week session
• Maximum of four participants per class
• Single-day registration options only

Stroke Improvement

Stroke Improvement & Fitness classes are designed for swimmers looking to refine technique and build speed. Participants learn drills that strengthen strokes and breathing, plus additional fitness elements to boost endurance. Two levels are available to support different skill needs.

• Starts January 13 at 8:00 a.m.
• Runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• One-day option: $120
• Two-day option: $160
• Both options run for 8 weeks

Pool Parties on Weekends

  • Saturdays: 12:30-2:30 pm; 1:30-3:30 pm; 2:30-4:30 pm
  • Sundays: 2:30-4:30 pm; 3:30 – 5:30 pm
  • $300 for 15 kids
  • Parties receive 55 minutes in the pool and one hour in a party room for cakes and games. Guests have full access to lifejackets and pool toys.

City of Kingston Swim Times

The City of Kingston is offering additional Drop-In Aquatics Programs at our facility on select dates.

Accessibility

Indoor, 25-meter pool, with an accessible entrance and no deep end.

Lifejackets/PFD
  • PFDs can be borrowed however no other equipment will be available for use
  • Patrons are encouraged to bring their own goggles and flutter boards etc.
  • Snorkels are not permitted at this time.
  • All used life jackets/PFD’s are cleaned/sanitized after each swim
  • The use of swim diapers is required for bathers requiring diapers. Disposable diapers are not permitted in the water
Pool Admissions/Ratios
  • The ratio of children ages 9 and under to caregiver may be a maximum of three bathers to one caregiver (3:1)
  • Children 6 years and under must be accompanied in the water, within arm’s reach, by a caregiver 16 years of age or older
  • Children 7 – 9 years of age must be accompanied in the water, within arm’s reach by a caregiver 16 years of age or older OR if the child passes the facility swim test the caregiver must be in the pool enclosure
  • Children 10 years of age and older who are swimmers may be admitted to the pool unaccompanied based on the drop-in program description. Those who cannot demonstrate comfort in the water or pass the facility swim test must remain in the shallow end
  • Caregiver or group leaders are responsible for children in their care while in the facility and must directly supervise the children at all times
  • Caregiver or group leaders must be a minimum of 16 years of age
