How does coming to the Boys and Girls Club make you feel?

Thank you for supporting the Boys and Girls Club to ensure that these programs can continue to be available for children and youth in our community for years to come. To show just how meaningful these programs are to the children and youth that participate them, we asked some of our Boys and Girls Club members what the Club means to them.

Check out what they had to say!

“If youth programs weren’t offered at Boys and Girls Club I would be really different, but in a negative way. I wouldn’t have some of the cool, useful skills that I have now. I also wouldn’t have all of the great friends and opportunities that I have now. I wouldn’t really have a social life. I also would not have somewhere safe and fun to go after school and these things are really important to me.”

“The Boys and Girls Club has helped me a lot. For example, having more time and help to do my homework has had a huge impact on me. I’m able to turn in assignments on time, my grades have improved, and I feel like I’m not always rushing through my school work. This has helped to raise my confidence and reduce my stress at school.”
- Youth Member
